The Waldringfield Parish Plan is due to be published in October 2015

The Parish Plan 2015 has now been published and has been distributed to all households within the Parish.

The 2015 Plan can be viewed online here

All the documents associated with the Plan are listed on the left hand side of this page and can be viewed by clicking on the relevant individual sections. Paper copies of the Parish Plan documents can be requested from the Parish Clerk via this email address: pc.waldringfield@googlemail.com

The Parish Plan process has provided an opportunity for residents to have a say in the planning of a sustainable future. A local employer/business survey is planned for the future. Public consultations were undertaken at key stages in the preparation process, including the emerging proposals for actions.

The Parish Plan, published in November 2015, reflects the views expressed by residents on the economic, recreational, environmental and housing matters within the Parish. The Parish Plan includes a prioritised Action Plan to provide a framework within which the key issues can be addressed and the special and much valued features of Waldringfield Parish can be conserved.

The Parish Council has overall responsibility for the delivery of the Plan but many actions will rely on members of the community to take them forward. Please contact the Parish Clerk for more information or if you would like to take part.

The Parish Plan will be used as evidence to inform and influence the decision making of SCDC, SCC and other Agencies, and to enhance funding opportunities for identified projects. In addition, it is recommended that the Parish Council press SCDC to adopt this Plan as a Supplementary Planning Document that will carry significant weight as a material consideration in the planning decision-making process.
